Robert M. Delmonico
Rob Delmonico, President and co-owner of RAD Sports is primarily responsible for business and financial company management. In addition, he directs and oversees the marketing and work acquisition aspects of the company. Rob received a degree in Civil Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology and is a former member of the Board of Directors of the ASBA (American Sports Builders Association). He is also an ASBA Certified Field Builder.
Derek J Delmonico
Derek Delmonico, owner and co-founder of RAD Sports, provides both strategic company management as well as hands-on job site management. Derek has been the driving force for our use of cutting edge equipment and technology and for the hiring and training of our knowledgeable workforce. Derek’s background includes a combination of construction experience and the study of Civil Engineering at Northeastern University.
Jim Doherty brings a wealth of project management experience to RAD, having worked in the construction industry for over 30 years. Jim has been with RAD Sports for 16 years and is responsible for all aspects of project management. His honesty and reliability is recognized throughout the industry and he has successfully managed hundreds of projects for RAD Sports.
Dick Letourneau is Senior Project Manager for RAD’s Turf Division. With over 15 years’ experience in synthetic field installations, Dick has supervised the installation of over 600 fields throughout the New England region and is considered one of the area’s leading authorities. Dick’s background includes military service and a degree in Power Engineering from Maine Maritime.
John has excelled in the construction industry for 30 years. He is a graduate of Worcester State College with extensive expertise in the synthetic turf and all-weather running track industry. John has been involved in the successful installation of hundreds of athletic facility projects.
Mid-Atlantic Territory Manager
Andrew Goldberg is the Mid-Atlantic Territory Manager. After graduating from Penn State University with a B.S. in Turfgrass Science, Andrew held substantial positions in the natural and synthetic turf industry; Assistant Superintendent at a prestigious golf club in New Jersey, Regional Sales Manager for a synthetic turf manufacturer, Field Testing Technician for a design/consulting firm, and Director of Sales for a sports field construction firm. He currently resides outside of Philadelphia, PA.
Bryan Weiner, P.E.
Bryan Weiner is a Professional Civil Engineer registered in MA and RI that brings more than 20 years of civil/environmental engineering and project management experience to RAD Sports. Working in the public and private sector, his experience includes planning, design, permitting, and construction management. Bryan has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Hartford and a M.S. in Environmental Engineering from UMass Amherst.
Sean Boyd, P.E.
Sean Boyd is a Project Manager and Professional Engineer that brings construction and athletic facility design experience to R.A.D. Sports. His experience started at a young age growing up in a construction family and continued with the planning, designing, and permitting of dozens of athletic field facilities throughout New England. Sean has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Merrimack College and his MBA at Babson College.
Sports Turf Manager
Nate Miller, CSFM
Nate Miller is a Sports Turf Manager with R.A.D. Sports. He received his M.S. in Turfgrass and Soil Science from the University of Connecticut, and is also a Certified Sports Field Manager. Nate brings technical and hands on experience to the R.A.D. Sports team, with a background that includes turfgrass research, working in minor league baseball, quality control with a specialty soil provider, and experience managing athletic facilities at multiple universities in the northeast.
