Our expertise enables us to successfully execute projects with precision and excellence. We are highly knowledgeable about various surfacing types and markings. Moreover, we have forged strong relationships with the top surfacing companies, guaranteeing the delivery of the best possible end product.

Construction

Building a court facility, whether for basketball, tennis or pickleball, has consistent construction milestones. First, we dispatch heavy metal equipment to perform earthwork until the site achieves subgrade. Drainage stone is installed, followed by either asphalt pavement or post tension concrete with a linear drain typically along the edge of the court.

After the pavement or concrete has had time to cure, the surfacing and line markings are applied. Athletic equipment and site furnishings such as back boards, netting, shade structures, spectator seating, court dividers, scoreboards, windscreens, benches, and lighting are installed.

Though it is optional for basketball, it is an industry standard to have fencing around the perimeter of courts intended for tennis and pickleball.

Post Tension Concrete

We take pride in our membership with the Post-Tensioning Institute (PTI), a nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the quality, safety, efficiency, and sustainability of post-tensioned construction. With over a dozen team members certified as PTI Level 1 Slab-on-Ground Installers, we possess the expertise to self-perform this specialized scope of work, ensuring the highest standards of excellence and precision.

Opting for post-tension concrete over asphalt pavement offers numerous advantages. Post-tension concrete boasts superior durability, requiring minimal maintenance and displaying increased resistance to cracking. While asphalt courts may seem more cost-effective upfront, post-tension concrete courts tend to incur lower operating and maintenance costs over time, making them a more cost-effective choice in the long run.
